I just noticed that many people here in Taiwan seem to be really astonished the moment you tell them you’re travelling alone, all by yourself. May it be just occasional or if you arrive at a hotel, they often ask for the second person. Only one? No wife? No children? If i would have, this trip would be even cheaper,

Had a very nice organic congee at the hotel, I would say this was the best breakfast at a hotel along the whole trip. During this time and while preparing , I noticed some military manoeuvre.

2018-10-27 Start: 11:00 / 104 km / 984 hm Despite being misty, this was a beautiful day of riding. Temperature was still quite high and with the subtropical humid, cycling was more then sweaty. 2018-10-26 Nothing so much to report today. Had a day off from cycling, finally cleaned the bike at a Giant store, went to the sea and then shopping and bought some local oolong and black tea. Had a fruity tea, which I suppose had a betel nut in it. Motor function of the body was messed up for 2 hours.
